What to expect
The first consultation involves:
• Thorough case history, including details about your pain, medical history, general lifestyle and routine. Everything is kept strictly confidential.
• An examination will follow to assess the area that is causing the pain. Other areas may be linked to the pain, so these may be assessed too. Rachael will always explain things as she goes along and makes sure you are happy.
• The findings are then discussed with you and a suitable treatment plan is found. This will include hands-on treatment as well as guidance on posture, lifestyle advice and exercises to do at home.
